Live Locally. . .
October is my secret favorite month. Leaves are turning, fall lighting will call to photographers everywhere and local fields are ablaze with colorful pumpkins and squash that will fill our holiday tables. Best of all, children and adults everywhere are abuzz as colorful costumes and comic-book identities take shape.
This month our calendars bring you every idea to explore fall. Sleepover in a pumpkin patch, plan a corporate mystery dinner, or follow Julie’s Food Finds and discover the new noodle.
We also are pleased to present a very special program for the Campbell Chamber’s Oktoberfest where Fat Sue dives in to German Food, Dan Gordon divulges secrets to navigating the festival, and we celebrate Campbell, one of the liveliest communities in Silicon Valley.
Back to learning continues as Dr. Armann takes us through the parenting journey; Erin Loftin keeps us moving and brings us back indoors for ideas before guests start to arrive for the holidays; C. Michael Traw takes us backstage and Bev Barnett brings us back to the Woodshed. Debbie Ballantine gears up for fall planting by teaching us about rain gardens.
Time to get Out & About, you won’t want to miss the seasonal events we found this month. Then come back home and remember to Live Locally!
